What is measured
Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views and measures how quickly pages load, using a small script that Cloudflare adds to each page. What was removed. Until 23 September 2026 this site also used Google Analytics (with its advertising features switched off) and Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. All three were removed when the site moved to Cloudflare Pages.

What is stored on your device
One record is kept in your browser’s local storage: a list of the pages of this site you have opened, up to the most recent 400. The site’s script adds to it on every page, and the flight deck reads it to light up the pages you have actually read — this is the “game progress” in the summary above.
It is never sent anywhere: the code that writes it has no address to send it to. The flight deck’s FORGET MY PROGRESS button deletes it, and so does clearing this site’s data in your browser. The flight deck also stores one flag saying you have already seen its introduction, so the introduction is not shown twice.
Search
The search on this site runs entirely in your browser. Your query is never sent to a server, never logged, and never leaves your device. It works with the network disconnected once the page has loaded.
Outbound links
This site carries no affiliate links. If you click any outbound link, the destination sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy — this site has no control over and no visibility into that.
